Austin’s official PRIDE celebration takes place on August 12th, but there are lots of ways to celebrate and keep the love flowing all weekend long.

PRIDE 2023The PRIDE Parade is free and open to the public. It kicks off at the Texas State Capitol Building and marches down Congress Avenue, ending on the Ann Richards Bridge. Buy tickets to view performances and enjoy the rides at the PRIDE Festival.

June 1 marked the end of a painful and exhausting legislative session for LGBTQIA+ Texans. A historic 141 bills were introduced, healthcare was stripped from thousands of people, and a Don’t Say Gay bill is speeding through the process. Hunt, Gather is committed to expanding the acceptance and equity of the LGBTQIA+ community, both in our office and across the country.

Trans Latinx immigrants founded and led, working for the intersectional wellbeing of our community.

Through our efforts, we strive to halt discrimination through social, legislative, and corporate education.

Queer People of Color organization in Texas focusing on social justice, cultural arts, and health + wellness.
Local
Contribute to local mutual aid organizations and private fundraisers for Queer and Trans Texans when they come across your feed.
Queer and Trans Texans are three times more likely to be unemployed (14% vs. 4% in 2022) compared to the rest of the population. Many more are underemployed. By shifting part of your donation budget to marginalized individuals, you can make a direct impact on someone’s life.

Intentionally supporting Queer and Trans owned businesses is the best way to contribute to the prosperity of the community.
